Chilliwack Unit

January 22, 1951 – Original Certification to National Union of Public Employees Local 712
October 27, 1965 – Certification varied to CUPE 458 from Chilliwack Municipal Employees Assoc Local 22
September 19, 1974 – CUPE 458 gains Certification for Chilliwack Community Chest and Services
January 21, 1975 – CUPE 458 loses certification for Chilliwack Community Chest and Services on appeal (BCGEU)
May 8, 1980 – Amalgamation of Municipality and City varied from CUPE Local 712 to CUPE Local 458
June 18, 1984 – Rep Vote resulted in outside workers from former Elk Creek (General Workers Union) joining CUPE 458
November 15, 2021 – Vote to include Chilliwack Crime  Prevention in CUPE 458 and became City of Chilliwack workers on March 22, 2022

Cultus Lake Unit

May 13, 1977 – Original Certification to National Union of Public Employees Local 712
August 26, 1977 – Varied to “regular employees” May 8, 1980 – Varied from CUPE Local 458

Fraser Valley Regional District Unit

June 19, 1973 – Certified to CUPE Local 755 (Central Fraser Valley RD)
January 8, 1975 – Certified to CUPE Local 458 (Fraser Cheam Regional District)
December 20, 1994 – Certified to CUPE Local 1267 (Dewdney Allouette Regional District)
November 21, 1996 – All certifications amalgamated to CUPE Local 458 (FVRD)
