Contract Ratified at Harrison Hot Springs

Village of Harrison Hot Springs—CUPE Local 458 workers have ratified nike billigt a new three-year collective agreement with the Village of Harrison Hot Springs.
The Village workers and the Village have a new deal which expires on Dec. 31, 2013. Included in the package are wage increases of 1.5% (2011), 1.75% (2012) and 2% (2013). The employer’s share of the premiums for the benefit package has been increased over the length of the agreement which will see the members paying only 10% in 2013, as opposed to 20% in the previous agreement. Other improvements include increased coverage for eyeglasses and hearing aids, coverage for laser eye surgery, and an increase in bereavement leave.
CUPE 458 president Bryan Bickley says that “the union is pleased to conclude nike air max dam billigt this round of bargaining that was professional and productive. CUPE 458 represents inside and outside workers at Harrison hot Springs who provide clerical services in the Village office. 458 members in the public works department are responsible for, drinking water distribution, waste water processing, roads and building maintenance, grounds maintenance, custodial and many more services.
